MEVS.I is all about transforming your mind to a greater level of discipline, pursuing what your heart desires and letting that fire inside burn bright, while improving or maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The meaning!
MEVS.I or ME vs. I, is a simple but profound statement that is seemingly an anomaly but is in essence the truest truth that we must experience if we intend on becoming all that we can become.
MEVS.I is all about changing your mindset and conditioning and transforming your mind to a greater level of discipline and understanding of oneself. Its representative of the struggle that we go through when we face our conscience, our internal eye, the little voice inside of us that speaks to us and shows who could, can, and should become and how to get there disagrees with the part of us that is satisfied and complacent with the status quo. We often know what the best plan of action is, but we fail to act on what we know to be right and true.
MEVS.I takes the subtle internal battle of the mind and opposing wills and brings it to the forefront by progressively changing and transforming our mindsets so that we can maximize our potential and become all that we KNOW we can be. What better place to manifest our progressive change of heart and mind than in our bodies, which serve as the visual representation of the self worth we ascribe ourselves and the general mindset that we hold. Nothing in this world comes easy. Changing our minds and our bodies takes hard work and sacrifice. Without sacrifice there is no life and there is no sacrifice without struggle. Struggle is a challenge which we must face everyday. So with that said "No Challenge, No Life!"
THE HEAD
Thoughts are forms conceived in the mind, rather than the forms perceived through the five senses. Thought and thinking are the processes by which these concepts are perceived and manipulated. Thinking allows beings to model the world and to represent it according to their objectives, plans, ends and desires. Similar concepts and processes include cognition, sentience, consciousness, ideas, and imagination.
Victory and accomplishment must first be mentally visualized before it is physically materialized. The HEAD symbolizes the reality of where the battle of me vs. I takes place. EVERYTHING IS MENTAL! All of the barriers; the feelings of self doubt; the feelings of inadequacy; the feeling of pity; the self hatred and defeat. It all begins and ends in your head. It takes heart to push through those feelings.
THE HEART
The HEART is not a depiction. It is the source and center of our emotional life; it defines us. It symbolizes us building our essential character with the capacity for courage and determination. The heart should fuel compassion and admiration for the things we desire. This positive energy will push us forward and take away the negatives; the feelings of self doubt; the feeling of inadequacy; the feeling of pity; the self hatred, fear and defeat. The heart is the fuel and the ignition that have always been inside of us, it work towards something greater and powers the mind to believe "I can do this".
The heart is what determines what we do and don’t do; what values we adhere to and which ones we casually ignore; and is the prime to the pump of our will and our emotions. The heart is the center of willful consciousness and is the source and energy of all substantial and effective
change.
In the battle of Me vs. I, its important to translate the awareness for change and self improvement into action and it takes motivation, courage, and will power to begin and finish the process. Long lasting change requires a change not only of the mind but also of the heart. The heart is representative of the innermost part of a person, their true self and identity. The heart is what sustains life and pumps life-blood throughout the body. The same is true for the MEVS.I process. Remember, where your heart lies there your treasure is also.
THE FLAME
To give birth to fire (in nature), it takes three elements. It is the same with us as human beings to make the impossible possible. Without the head and the heart you will not see the flame. In nature a flame is the visible gaseous part of a fire. It is caused by a highly exothermic reaction taking place in a thin zone.
The flame in us is the action, the impossible, that thought, and the vision that begun in your head and lives in your heart. When you are truly passionate that flame will never burn out. It is cause by an endo-psycho-metaphysical reaction taking in a place many are not aware of. YOU!
The FLAME is symbolic of many things: the internal flame that keeps the passion for change burning bright, and the fiery trials that we go through to reach our desired end. The fire for purification and refining which makes us come out as pure gold, and the finish product of your existence in life, all of which are applicable in our journey through MEVS.I, the battle between Me vs. I
If you have the desire, the dedication, the passion and the motivation, LET YOUR FLAME BURN BRIGHT. It's you vs. you, It's ME vs. I.
